The Dale Tradition continues...

Nashville Skyline

Dale Incorporated has a long history in the building industry. In 1947, Jack Dale came to Nashville, TN and started Dale and Maxey Incorporated, which today has evolved into Dale Incorporated. Dale and Maxey concentrated on the heating and air conditioning, insulation, storm windows and doors, roofing, siding, etc.

In 1973, Jack's son, Bert Dale, entered the business which, by then, was heavily involved in the insulation business. Through the 1980's, the business diversified into fireplaces, windows and doors, and commercial fireproofing.

In 1990, Dale became a Marvin Window dealer for Middle Tennessee. As this business grew, it eventually became a Marvin Window distributor for all of Middle TN, Southern Kentucky, and Northern Alabama.

During the mid 1990's, Dale Incorporated started a commercial glass and window division. It concentrated on commercial glass storefront jobs, aluminum, and steel and wood windows. Recognizing the need for preservation, Dale began furnishing window replacements for structures as old as those built in the 1860's.

In 1997, the Dale family sold Dale Insulation Company to the Cary Corporation. The Dale Family continued to manage Dale Insulation until 2003.

As Dale Incorporated enters the next century, our plan is to expand all of our product lines, especially those of Marvin Windows and Doors. In the summer of 2000, Jackson Dale, Bert's son, entered the business. In the fall of 2002, and joining the family tradition, Andy Dale joined the Dale Inc team. During the summer of 2003, Brye Dale became the last of Bert's sons to join the Dale Inc Team.  The Dale family and all of our fine employees hope to continue to offer high quality products, dependable service, and a trust that will build long term relationships.
